Publication Ethics

MEPALJOS upholds high standards of publication ethics to ensure the academic integrity and scientific quality of every article published. Editors, authors, and reviewers are required to adhere to the ethical principles as recommended by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Authors are fully responsible for the originality of the work submitted and must avoid any form of plagiarism, data fabrication, and duplicate publication. All submitted manuscripts will be checked using plagiarism detection software before undergoing the peer review process. Reviewers are required to be objective, maintain the confidentiality of manuscripts, and have no conflicts of interest with the content or authors of the article. Editors play a role in maintaining publication quality by making decisions based on the scientific merit of the article and review results, without bias. Any suspected ethical violations will be handled seriously and professionally in accordance with COPE guidelines.
