Focus and Scope

Scope - The primary objective of JPERS is to bring together specialists from various fields, including sports, physical activity, kinesiology, education, health, and nutrition, to provide opportunities for multidisciplinary debate and comprehensive understanding of how physical activity affects human life. Researchers from fields related to sports and health are invited to publish their latest research and its practical applications. Our group of expert specialists includes academic researchers, kinesiotherapists, physical education and sports teachers, physiotherapists, sports medicine specialists, psychologists, nutritionists, coaches, and other researchers involved in the field of sports.

JPERS aims to act as a stimulus and dissemination tool for the research activities of Indonesian and foreign researchers. JPERS primarily publishes articles in the following fields: natural sciences of sports, social and behavioral sciences and humanities, sports medicine, sports pedagogy, sports physiology, and sports itself. This journal also aims to facilitate and enhance communication across all subdisciplines of sports science. The journal welcomes original papers, review articles, technical reports, and short communications that present new insights into various aspects of sports science that have not been previously published and are not currently under consideration for publication elsewhere.
